SPEND. is designed to respect your privacy. We collect the bare minimum required to make the app work across your devices. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not connect to your bank accounts.

2. What We Collect

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password to manage your login.
• Financial Data: The manual transactions, balances, and categories you enter into the app.
• Usage Analytics: We use cookie-free, privacy-focused analytics (like Cloudflare Web Analytics) to see aggregate website traffic. It does not track you across the internet or store personal identifiers.

3. How We Store Your Data

SPEND. is an "offline-first" application. Your data is primarily stored locally on your device so the app is instantly responsive. To ensure you don't lose your ledger and can access it across multiple devices, this local data is securely synced to our cloud database provider (Supabase), which operates servers located in Ireland (within the EU).

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with our core infrastructure providers (like our database host) strictly for the purpose of keeping the app functioning.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

It is your data. You have the right to access, correct, export, or permanently delete your ledger at any time. You can manage this directly within the app, or by contacting us to do it for you.
